Ingredients

• 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
• ½ teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon salt
• ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1 cup "M&M's"® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits, divided
• 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
• 1-1/4 cup uncooked quick oats

• ½ cup raisins or nuts ( optional)
• 3/4 cup butter
• 1 large egg
• 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
• large bowl
• cookie sheet

Instructions

1.
Combine the butter, egg and vanilla in a large mixing bowl, until well blended.
2.
Pour in the dry ingredients from the jar and blend well.
3.
Drop 1-inch balls of dough onto greased cookie sheet.
4.
Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.

Cool and enjoy!

Tips

Directions for layering the Jar:

1. Mix together the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Pour into jar, packing firmly.
2. Next, pour in the walnuts, spreading evenly in jar.
3. Add ½ cup of the mini baking bits, spreading evenly in jar.
4. Pour in the raisins, spreading evenly in jar.
5. Add the brown sugar, packing firmly.
6. Pour in the other half cup of mini baking bits, spreading evenly in jar.
7. Pour in the oats.
8. Seal, decorate and add the recipe tag to the jar.
