Ingredients

• ½ cup firmly packed flaked coconut
• 3/4 cup chopped nuts
• 2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
• 2 cups flour
• 1 ½ tablespoons baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt

• 2 eggs, slightly beaten
• 3/4 cup butter, softened
• 2 tsps. vanilla
• large mixing bowl
• 9x13 pan

Instructions

Pour the packed contents of the recipe jar into your mixing bowl and mix thoroughly with a spoon.

Add the butter, eggs and vanilla, mixing until blended.
3.
Pour batter into a greased 9x13 pan.
4.
Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
5.
Cool. Cut brownies into squares.

Tips

Directions for layering the Jar:

1. Pack the coconut firmly into the jar.
2. Spread the nuts evenly in jar.
3. Pack in the brown sugar.
4. Pour in the flour mixture.
5. Seal, decorate and attach the recipe tag.
