Bratz® Birthday Party

Have a Bratz® birthday party filled with party games, fashion, dancing and of course your favorite Bratz® characters! This is a fantasitc birthday party for girls.

BIRTHDAY PARTY INVITATIONS

Mail invitations 3-4 weeks in advance.

Either purchase invitations matching your Bratz® theme, or make some using card stock paper (craft store). Use a flower or star cookie cutter to trace a nice shape and then decorate with glitter-glue around the edges. A bright gel pen is a perfect tool to use when writing your message and party information. For a special touch, hand deliver invitations tied to a lip gloss or nail polish.

BIRTHDAY PARTY DECORATIONS

Glam and glitter are in order for this birthday party. Drape and hang lots of streamers and balloons, add some feather boas. Drape your furniture with fun fabric or sheets. Place mirrors in the party room for fashion fun activities. Hang a disco ball if possible.  Dress up your party table with a Bratz® table cover, plates etc. Scatter sequins all around the table. Make a centerpiece with a bouquet of balloons tied to the handle of an inexpensive matching purse.

If you are adding Bratz® Fashion Pixiez to you party, create and enchanted land with a unicorn stuffed animal, or two. Hang fairy posters, imitation flowers, and glitter tulle fabric.

BIRTHDAY PARTY GAMES AND ACTIVITIES

A Special Welcome

Upon arrival, give the girls a fun, but simple make-over with the help of  another adult/teen or two. You'll want to have enough help so that the waiting time is minimal. Then let the girls select special hats, feather boa's or some other fun fashion statement. Play some kid friendly hip-hop music (suggestions below), as the girls do a "fashion show" announce each girls name.
Tip: You can collect some fun and inexpensive clothing from you local thrift store, your own closets and friends as well.

Make and Take Body Glitter

Girls can mix their own body glitter with this simple recipe!

Materials:

  • 1 cup aloe vera gel
  • fine polyester glitter in any color (available at most craft stores)
  • 1 small cosmetic travel container with a screw top for each girl

Directions: Fill the containers 1/4 full with aloe gel. Pour a small amount of glitter in the container. Provide wood craft sticks or plastic coffee stir straws to the girls for mixing. Add more gel until the mix is complete. Close the lid. Decorate sticker labels with gel pens and attach it to the container.

Dana's Sugar Shoe Game

Play this like Hot Potato. Before the party pick up a wild fashion shoe at a thrift store. Let the birthday girl help you "fix it up" with glitter and other accessories.

Directions: Players form a circle. The "Sugar Shoe" is passed from player to player while Hip-Hop music is playing. When the music stops, the player who has the shoe is out and sits in the center or takes control of the music. Stops should be made frequently so the game moves quickly and players will not be out for a long period.

Enchanted Treasure Hunt (for Bratz® Pixez)

Go on a treasure hunt to find Alphie the gnome!

Leave surprises for with each glue; pixie dust, unicorn stickers, tissue flowers, etc. Eventually leading to a hidden lawn gnome where the girls will find their party favor bags.

Who am I?

Before the party write Bratz®, Lil' Bratz® and Fahion Pixiez names onto sticker labels; Cloe, Jade, Jasmin etc. Place a sticker on each players back, but keep it a secret. The object of the game is to guess your name, by asking other players "yes or no" questions (try questions like: "Am I an awesome hip-hop dancer?" or "Do i wear beanies?").bIf you have non-readers, you can draw pictures.

Sasha's on the Move

Play some kid friendly hip hop form "Cheetah Girls," "Kids Bop Collection," or "That's So Raven," and let the girls create their own moves and dance steps. Can they come up with a routine to do together?
Don't forget your video camera!
Variation: Enlist a teenager or hire a dance teacher to give a hip-hop lesson.

Play Time

Invite the girls to bring their favorite Bratz® dolls and accessories. Allow some time at the end of the party for the girls to play together.

BIRTHDAY PARTY ARTS AND CRAFTS

Use stick on jewels, glitter glue and gel pens to make any of the  following items:

  • decorate picture frames and take a digital or Polaroid snapshot for the girls to take home
  • use small canvas bags (craft store) to make purses
  • decorate a small wood or foam framed mirror
  • decorate pre-cut foam door hangers (craft store)
  • Pixiez Craft

Add a Bratz® Fashion Pixiez craft to your party by making a fairy wing necklace. It's easy with craft foam, plastic lacing lanyard, pony beads and glitter glue. Before the party, cut 2 inch fairy wings, similar to a butterfly using the craft foam. Make a hole in the top with a hole punch. The girls will lace the lanyard through the hole and tie a knot. Then, they can add a few beads and glitters glue for pixie dust.

    BFF Bracelets

Make BFF bracelets with alphabet bead letters: B,F,F and glitter pony beads.
