Cheetah Girls® Birthday Party

If your daughter is a huge Cheetah Girls® fan, host a memorable Cheetah-Licious birthday party with these Cheetah Girls® birthday party games, activities, supplies and fun ideas! This makes a fantastic birthday party for girls.

BIRTHDAY PARTY SUPPLIES AND DECORATIONS

Now that you've selected a party theme, it's time to plan your decorations and activities to build on that theme. Deorate your party space with plenty of pink and purple. Hang travel posters from Spain to match the latest Cheetah Girls® 2 movie. Fashion a stage with a large sheet and light strands. Drape your furniture with animal print fabric, the more colors the better! Hang Cheetah Girls® Posterson the walls and door. The birthday girl can use them to decorate her bedroom after the party. Hang CD's, records, and inflatable microphones from the ceiling.

If this party is for pre-teens, you'll want to create a relaxed "hang-out" atmosphere. Fill the area with the standard party streamers, balloons and plenty of floor pillows or bean bag chairs so the girls can spend time during the party listening to music, talking, giggling or maybe watching The Cheetah Girls® Movie.

Also, play The Cheetah Girls® 2 CDt hroughout the party for mood music!

BIRTHDAY PARTY GAMES AND ACTIVITIES

Cheetah Girls® Fabulous Makeover

Each of your guests will feel "Cheetah-licious" when this makeover is complete! Have fun with make-up, hair-dos, scarves, jewelry (big hoop earrings are a favorite!), and feather boas. You may want to invite a fun teenager or mom to help with the makeover. Then dress your guests up in glamourous Cheetah Girls® costumes. (If you take pictures with a digital camera, you can print the photos during the party, and the guests can decorate their own picture frame with craft foam, stickers, gel pens etc. as a fun craft project.)

It's Showtime!

Once the makeover is complete, you'll have a room filled with Cheetah Girls® ready to show their talents! It's time for the show! Provide a Karaoke Machine and Disney's Cheetah Girls® Karaoke CD.Your party guests will have a ball singing alone, in a group and maybe even adding their own choreography. You may want to hire a high school or college dance student (less expensive than professional) to come and teach some simple dance steps.

Tip: Although a Karaoke machine seems like an extravagant addition to a birthday party, it can double as a birthday gift. My pre-teen daughter used her machine at every sleepover and was even asked to bring it along when she went to other homes! Don't forget to purchase some Karaoke CD's as well.

Body Glitter

Girls can mix their own body glitter during the party to take home using this simple recipe.

Materials:

  • 1 cup aloe vera gel
  • fine polyester glitter in any color (available at most craft stores)
  • 1 small cosmetic travel container with a screw top, for each girl
  • 1 self-adhesive mailing label for each girl
  • markers, glitter pens, etc.

Directions: Fill the containers 1/4 full with aloe gel. Pour a small amount of glitter in the container. Provide wood  craft sticks or plastic coffee stir straws to the girls for mixing. Add more gel until the mix is complete. Close the lid. Have the girls decorate mailing labels with their names and any desins they vhooose using markers and gel pens and attach it to the container.

Make Your Own Jewelry

Provide pony beads and elastic beading string, so girls can make their own necklaces, bracelets, and anklets. Older girls can bead with smaller beads and charms. See this Beading Party Guide for more tips.

The Cheetah Girls® Fan Club Scrapbook

Use your computer, scrap book supplies and the Disney Cheetah Girls® website to provide a fun activity.

Before the party, make print scrapbook pages for each guest. Suggested title pages:

  • Favorite Cheetah Girl
  • Favorite Cheetah Girls® Song
  • Favorite Cheetah Girls® Scene
  • Cheetah-licious Outfit

Each guest should have a several pages. Then provide printed images from the Internet and magazines, glue sticks, fun scrap book paper, embellishments, markers, glitter glue pens, stickers and scissors.

The girls will want to spend plenty of time making their own scrapbook pages. Complete the books with a hole punch and plastic report covers.

BIRTHDAY PARTY FOOD

The Cheetah Girls® have now traveled to Spain and broadened their horizons. Use the internet to locate recipes for Tapas (Spanish appetizers) along with other traditional Spanish menu items.

This is the perfect theme for making your own decorated cupcakes (check out these cupcake recipes) and or music note cookies.
