Pea Valentine's Day Craft for Kids
This Valentine gift provides a reminder that winter is almost over.

Materials
Kitchen sponge
Scissors
Three-inch clay pot
Acrylic paint
Potting soil
Plastic baggie
Packet of sweet pea seeds
Ribbon
Get the craft
supplies you need >>
First,
print a design on the pot using a cut kitchen sponge
and acrylic
paints. Heart shapes are the easiest to cut
from sponge. Allow to dry. Place potting soil, seeds and
planting instructions into the pot and wrap the
whole thing in a ribbon.
Variation:
Make a paper heart with a message.
Attach it to a florist
stick and place into the pot as well.
