Valentine's Day Taper Candle
Craft A craft for older kids or adults - fun for classrooms, or scout troops. Give this unique Valentine's Day craft as a gift, or make a several to set a romantic Valentine's Day table!  You'll need: Large Conversation Heart Candies Taper Candles Hot Glue Gun Mod-Podge Craft Sealer Paint brush Use a glue gun to attach four large conversation hearts to the base of the taper candle. Be sure they are evenly placed or the candle will not stand straight. Brush a thin coat of mod-podge onto the hearts. When the mod-podge is dry apply another coat. Three coats are recommended. Tip -- Soak taper candles over night in a heavy salt solution ( approx.1 cup salt to 2 quarts water) and they will not drip.
