- Use lollipop sticks (craft store) to make kid-friendly kabobs.
- Add strawberries, blue berries and marshmallows.
- Tip: the lollipops sticks are safer than skewers.
Star Cookie Cutter Treats
Cookie cutters can turn ordinary food into a 4th of July delight and your kids can help.
- Red and blue Jell-o Jigglers
- Sugar cookies
- Star cheese slices placed on crackers
- Use the cookie cutter to cut flour tortillas brush a small amount of olive oil and add parmesan cheese, then lightly bake in a 350 degree oven.
- Cut star shaped brownies. Use a decorating tube to add red, white or blue frosting on top. then top with a red or blue M&M.
Marshmallow treats
Marshmallow treats are a summer picnic favorite. A star cookie cutter and berries, transforms this treat for the occasion. Stack the marshmallow treats on a plate and surround the outside edge with raspberries, blueberries and mini marshmallows.
