| Ice Cream Extravaganza |
An easy alternative to cake. All children love ice cream ! For a summer party, serve this dessert and then send the guests out side with their treat. Virtually no clean up! Here's how: Simply scoop ~ 3 different flavors of ice cream (approx. two scoops per person) into a large punch or mixing bowl. Top with chocolate sauce, whipped cream and cherries galore. then add sprinkles. All over the top place a variety of small plastic decorations like flags, smiles, etc that can be purchased at a craft or bakery store then the candles. We gave the kids noise makers and made a "Big Introduction" Something like this " Ladies and gentlemen ....We are here to celebrate the Birth of _________ who is turning ___ today everyone sing along , make some noise and let her know you are glad she is alive!" then sing "Happy Birthday". |
