Lizzie McGuire Birthday Party
Celebrating a birthday is "totally cool"! Especially when
your party theme is the popular Lizzie McGuire.

Begin by ordering your birthday party supplies on-line. Then, create an awesome Lizzie party, using the party games activities provided below.

Lizzie McGuire Party Decorations
Your color scheme should be bright Lizzie colors: orange, chartreuse and yellow. Cover your table with a table cloth. Then scatter flower sequins or beads around the table. Use a miniature school locker to weight a bouquet of balloons. Add a few toy cell phones in the center as well. You may also want to use a cupcake stand and frosted cupcakes as a centerpiece.

This is a pre-teen party theme, so you'll want to create a relaxed "hanging-out" atmosphere. Fill the area with bright streamers, balloons and plenty of floor pillows or bean bag chairs so the girls can just "hang-out".

Lizzie McGuire Party Games and Activities

MAKEOVER - MIRANDA STYLE
One of the reasons Lizzie McGuire is so popular is her creative sense of fashion. Have fun with make-up nail polish and hair styles. You may want to invite a fun teenager or mom to help with the makeover. Take pictures with a Polaroid and the girls can make their own party journal with card stock paper, stickers, gel pens etc. -- you may want to make the blank journals before the party.

"TELEPHONE"
This traditional circle game is perfect for the Lizzie theme.
The First player whispers a phrase into the ear of the next player this continues around the circle. The last player repeats aloud what was said -- Has it changed through the telephone lines?
Tip: Write some phrases on strips of paper before the party. It's often hard for children to come up with something
on the spot.
"I think Lizzie has a serious crush on Gordo!"
"Matt is a stinky Little Brother"
"Kate is such a snob!"........

FASHION RELAY
Miranda and Lizzie certainly have their own style,
and the party girls will too with this silly relay race.
Before the party fill shopping bags (one per team) with a large shirt, elastic waist skirt, hat, scarves, sunglasses, plastic bead necklace etc.
Divide the players into teams. Place the bags at one end of the room or yard. When you say "go" one player from each team runs to their bag, puts on ALL of the items, then takes them ALL off again and returns to their team. The next player repeats this and so on until all of the players have had a turn. This is a race but you will want each child to be able to take a turn. So we suggest giving prizes for 1st, 2nd,3rd and so on.
Suggested prizes....Give each player of the winning team a feather boa. Second place receives sunglasses. Third place bracelets or stickers.

PINATA FUN
Fill a flip-flop or flower pinata with candy, jelly bracelets and hair clips,
Use a pull string pinata kit if you would like to save
the pinata for a room decoration.

Lizzie McGuire Favor Purse
Fill small vinyl purses with lip gloss, cell phone eye shadow, gel pens, notebook, hair clips and candy and

Lizzie McGuire Party Crafts

Make door hangers with craft foam, glitter pens and stick on  gems. Your
local craft store will carry door hanger kits for easy preparation.

Use these instructions to for older girls to make friendship bracelets.

Make your own Hacky Sack?
You'll need a small child's sock for each guest.
Then invite the guests to fill just the toe area of the sock with dry lentils. Tie the end of the sock into a knot. Trim the end if there is too much left over. Then give your new Hacky Sack? a try. Are you as good as Gordo?

Treats
Provide plenty of chips soda etc.
This is the perfect theme for making your own English muffin pizzas, decorating cupcakes or flower shaped cookies.
