adult/teen or two. You'll want to have enough help so that the waiting time is
minimal.
Then, allow the girls select special hats, feather boa's or some other fun fashion statement.
Play some dance music, as the girls do a "fashion show"
and announce each girls name.
Tip: You can collect some fun and inexpensive clothing from you local thrift store,
your own closets and friends as well.
MAKE AND TAKE BODY GLITTER
Girls can mix their own body glitter with this simple recipe.
You'll Need
cup aloe vera gel
fine polyester glitter (any color, available at most craft stores)
One small cosmetic travel container for each girl -the kind you might
put hand cream in with a screw top.
To Make: Fill the containers 1/4 full with aloe gel.
Pour a small amount of glitter in the container. Provide wood
craft sticks or plastic coffee stir straws to the girls for
mixing. Add more gel until the mix is complete. Close the
lid. Decorate sticker labels with gel pens and attach it to the
container.
PASS THE PURSE
Play like Hot Potato - Before the party pick up a purse at a thrift store.
Allow the birthday girl help you "fix it up" with glitter and other accessories. Place some play jewelry, candyand stickers in the purse before the party.
To play: Players form a circle. The purse is passed from player to player while
music is playing. When the music stops, the player who has the
purse opens it up to receive a treat and then sits in the center or takes control of
the music. Stops should be made frequently so the game moves quickly and players will not be out for a long period.
DRESS-UP PARTY PIÑATA
Fill a purse or lipstick piñata with stick-on jewels, lip gloss,
candy,
and plastic jewelry.
GIRL'S ON THE MOVE
Play some kid friendly dance music and let the girls give a fashion show.
Don't forget your
video camera.
