American Chopper Birthday Party - Birthday Party Ideas for Kids
Part steel, part art, part machine...this American Chopper birthday
party is all power! Perfect for younger American Chopper fans!

Every successful party takes planning and preparation. Begin with your
American Chopper party supplies. Then, go full throttle, with the
American Chopper party games and activities provided
below. If a child's birthday party has plenty of activities, the kid's
won't feel the need to create their own fun and possibly wreak havoc on
your home.
BIRTHDAY PARTY DECORATIONS
Create the look and feel of the American Chopper set/shop by mounting
posters of the cast, motorcycles and a
chopper banner. Add matching
balloons, streamers, helmets, tires and tools throughout the party area
and
on the table etc. to complete the festive look. Hire a talented teen
to
make an OCC storefront sign for your front door or party entrance.
Cover your party table with a
matching or solid colored table cloth.
Fashion a centerpiece using a motorcycle helmet and goggles as a weight
for a bouquet of balloons. Add a small
toy
motorcycle at each place
setting.
AMERICAN CHOPPER PARTY GAMES AND ACTIVITIES
The party games and activities you choose, will depend on the party
space and ages of the children attending. Use these ideas or adapt them
to suit your particular needs.
Giant American Chopper Birthday Card
Place a large piece of poster board, glue, scissors, motorcycle
magazines, crayons, or markers, on a covered table. When children
arrive, direct them to the table to make a special poster for the
birthday child. Cut and glue motorcycle photos and write notes or draw
pictures.
Variation...
Cut the poster board in the shape of a chopper and have the kids create
a collage, by filling it in with magazine pictures; motorcycles, tires,
chrome, tools and logos.
Build a Bike
This will be the primary activity at the party.
You'll divide the kids into two teams; Team Mikey and Team Paulie.
Each team will need:
A large piece of cardboard which you'll cut into a basic motorcycle
shape (appliance boxes may help), Kid-safe paint, Paint sponges and
brushes,
Markers, Glue, Cardboard or poster board, Scissors, Stapler, A roll of
aluminum foil
Give the kids a time limit, then send them off to create and name, a
custom chopper. Don't forget to cover the work area and provide
oversized shirts for smocks. When the bikes are built, enlist the adults
at the party judge each bike. Of course finding positive qualities about
each bike.
OCC Chopper Relay
If you have the space...
Before the party, use old tires, cones, chairs and boxes to prepare the
obstacle course. Divide the kids into two teams. Provide each team with
motorcycle goggles a leather jacket and boots, or other chopper gear.
The first player on each team, will put on the jacket and goggles and
run the race. Then, return to his team to pass off the items to the next
runner. Continue until all of the kids have run the course. First team
to finish, wins!
The Shop is a Mess!
Paul senior is furious at Paulie again, because the shop is a wreck!
To play, scatter pictures, or actual items around the party area; tools,
helmets, jackets, gloves, tires, pieces of chrome,
mirrors, chopper photos, coffee cups, water bottles etc.
the kids have to race the clock to clean up the mess and place
everything
in a large appliance box, before Paulie throws a fit.
To make it more challenging, they can only pick up one item
at a time
and place it in the box.
PIÑATA TIME

Fill this cool
American Chopper pull-string piñata, with
stickers, tattoos
and treats. Kids of all ages love piñatas! Be sure to keep safety in
mind> The pull-string feature allows younger children to play safely.
For older kids, add a
pinata blindfold and bat.
Tire Roll Race
You'll need two tires and cones. Place a cone a reasonable race distance
from the start line. One cone per tem. The challenge is for the players
to roll the tire to and around the cone, then return to the team. The
next player runs etc. until each team has finished. First team to
finish, wins.
American Chopper Party Favors
American Chopper is a huge hit with kids. Finding
appropriate party
favors
will be easy; cards, stickers, magazines,
key chains and toys.
AMERICAN CHOPPER PARTY TREATS
Tire Treats
Place a round candy in the center of a chocolate sandwich cookie using
frosting. Place these tires on top of a frosted cupcake.
Re-fuel hungry party goers with chopper sandwiches. Using a
motorcycle cookie cutter,
cut simple sandwiches like PB&J or ham and cheese. You may
also
choose to simply cut slices of lunch meat and cheese and served w/
crackers. Add carrot sticks, orange wedges and grapes.
