Camp Rock Birthday Party Ideas - Party Ideas for Pre-Teens
Disney has done it again...the Camp Rock birthday party and sleepover party requests are already pouring in.

Camp Rock Party Supplies

Although I've not yet written a complete party plan, I thought I'd share some quick ideas for Camp Rock birthday party games and activities to
help you get your creative juices flowing.

Camp Rock Party Decorations
Set the stage for a fun-filled Camp Rock party by welcoming guests with unique decorations and props.
Create a performance stage with a large piece of fabric; a king size sheet will do. Run white twinkling lights around the edge of the sheet. Then, hang gold stars and stage light garlands from the ceiling using fishing line.
Make a camp rock party banner using butcher paper and poster paint.
The birthday girl can help with this.

CAMP ROCK BIRTHDAY PARTY GAMES AND ACTIVITIES
Greet future rock stars in style with a Camp Rock cap.
You can make these using inexpensive caps or visors.
Simply use fabric paint to write "Camp Rock" on each cap.

?Rock Star? Makeover.
Ask the girls?"if you were a pop star, what would your particular style be?"
Then provide fun hair items, hats, scarves, etc. and let them go for it.
Take a picture or two and print the photos out for party favors.

Camp Rock Party Karaoke
Although purchasing a karaoke machine may seem extravagant for a birthday party,  in this case it can double as a birthday gift and is well worth the investment. My daughter used hers for all of the sleepovers and was regularly asked to bring it along when invited to get-together. Purchase karaoke CD's for an entertaining sing along.

Name That Tune
Have the children take turns humming the first few notes of
Camp Rock songs. Can the other players guess which song it is?
Keep adding notes, or even words as additional clues when necessary.
This game can also be played with other popular songs.

Who Said It
Before the party, write down several lines from the Camp Rock movie
with the character that said it, on slips of paper. The players take turns selecting a slip of paper from a basket. Then, they'll say the quote aloud. Winners are the players who match the quote to the character first.

For a more physical game use a bed sheet to create your very own Rock Star Twister. Instead of simple colored circles draw music notes, simple guitars, drums etc.
Then adapt a Twister Spinner to correspond to your newly created game. ? an artistic teen may be able to help you with this and would love to pick up a few extra bucks ? For really advanced Twister game print out iron-on decals using the Camp Rock character faces?that might be too over the top, even for me ?

To include a summer camp activity try flashlight tag or sleeping bag races.

Party Crafts for Your Campers
It wouldn't be summer camp without a craft or two.

Make a Camp Rock Journal?.decorate the cover and the girls can sign each other?s to take home.

Decorate your own Camp Rock Tee?Shirts or Camp pillow cases. ? using dye crayons save drying time. Check out the craft store for more information.

Friendship bracelet braiding is always a hit with older girls...

Traditional lanyard lacing may prove to be too challenging for younger hands, which is why I?m suggesting beading or braiding. Purchase some guitar or music note charms, one for each girl, to be added to the beading.

Tip: Keep in mind that not all children love to perform whether it's singing
or dancing. Be sure that those guests can use another gift like running the music, lights, make-up, or cheering for their favorite performers.
Be sure to video the performance!

Camp Rock Birthday Party Treats
Serve camp fare such as hot dogs, burgers, beans, popcorn, soda, large boxes of candy, cookies, trail mix and s'mores. Possibly make CD sugar cookies for the party-goers to frost and decorate.

That?s what I?ve got ? have tons of fun, I wish I still had a pre-teen ion the house to enjoy a fun sleepover again!

TIPS ON PLANNING A BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR PRE-TEENS
The first step in planning a pre-teen birthday party, is the commitment to involve your child in the planning process. Start with a theme, make a list
of possible activities and purchase party supplies. On party day, provide plenty of food and be there to supervise, but give the kids a bit of space. Work together to plan an absolutely awesome High School Musical party!
