When Kerri Swanson of Maryland began planning her son's June birthday party she thought it would be a breeze,
"I thought I'd just provide hot dogs, cake and let the
kids run around the back yard...it was a disaster!"
Kerri said her big mistake was not to set a two hour party limit, nor did she provide enough structured, thematic play to make this celebration different from any other play day.
"Last year was much better....we gave a party the neighbors are still talking about!"
Kerri learned her lesson the hard way, but you don't have to.
