Protect yourself and those you love, from St. Patrick's Day
pinching with this easy to make, green, shamrock pin.

This craft idea is recommended for Scout Troops, classrooms
or make a few for your family to wear on St. Patrick's Day!
You'll need:
Green felt
Gold buttons
Pin backs (craft store)
Craft glue or glue gun
Thread

Cut 2 inch squares from the green felt. Use a pen or pencil
to draw a shamrock. Cut felt shamrocks.
I find it easier to make a paper pattern first by drawing three hearts and then adding the stem. Sew gold or green buttons in the middle. It should only take a few stitches, you don't need to be a seamstress for this.
Use the glue to attach the pin backing and you are done!
Pom-Pom St. Patrick's' Day Pin and Napkin Rings

You'll Need
green cardstock paper or craft foam sheet
green pom-pom's
green chenille stem (pipe cleaner)
pin back
glue - either hot glue or craft glue
Cut a circle from the green paper that's big enough to hold
all three pom-poms. Glue the pom-poms to the paper, forming a cluster.
Then, cut the green chenille stem into thirds. You'll only need 1/3 for each pin. Poke the chenille stem through the craft foam, or paper and twist to make your shamrock stem. The final step is to attach the pin to the back
of the shamrock.

You can also attach these pom-pom shamrocks to a piece of tissue covered TP roll for an easy and festive napkin ring! Simply follow the directions above and use a glue stick, craft glue or hot glue gun to affix the shamrock to the napkin ring.
