HANDY MANNY BIRTHDAY PARTY GAMES AND ACTIVITIES
This party theme focuses on building and fixing things – so be sure you’ve got plenty of activities to keep little hands busy. But there’s is no need to plan elaborate activities when the age group is very young. Try blocks, legos, toy tools, play dough etc. set up in stations where the kids can roam and play together – just like in preschool. Add to the festivities by playing Handy Manny’s favorite Latino music.

Keep these ideas in mind…
If you don’t have a tool bench toy you can make your own with a large appliance or moving box, and a box cutter. Provide plastic tools (dollar store) for the kids to build and fix things on the box. For more fun, try cutting a few holes and supply the kids with plastic screws or nails. It’s also fun to adding a bucket of toddler-sized crayons so the kids can color on the box as well.

Handy Manny Fixes the Pipes
Provide a big bucket or box of PVC pipe and kid-safe fixtures for the children to connect together.

Sheet Rock Hills
If your party is outdoors provide a Sheet Rock Hills  play space with sand, rocks, tools, construction vehicles and sand toys. You can even make a big town sign.

Include Handy Manny toys in the play time – purchase toys to give your child as a gift when the party id over — giving your child the toy before the party could cause a problem when it comes time to share.

Handy Mannys’ Tool Box (or Bucket) Relay

Provide each team with one empty tool belt.

to empty it and return to the next player with an empty tool-belt.
This continues until all players have had a turn.

Before the party, prepare several blocks of wood, dowels and paper, wood glue etc.
During the party, provide a protected work space where the children can sand, glue, and with an adults help, hammer their own creation to take home.
Tip: Cut foam sanding blocks into pieces to make small blocks for little hands. These blocks are easier for little hands to manage than pieces of sandpaper.
