Clothes Pin Buddy
A fun buddy to make and attach to t backpack!
A quick and easy clothes pin craft doll for parties, scout meetings,
Sunday school or a rainy day fun.
 
You?ll need: 
Clothes pins, the type with the round tops
Fabric scraps 
ribbon or yarn, optional
Permanent markers 
Craft glue, glue gun, or school glue

Draw a face for your buddy on the top of the clothes pin (head). Wrap a small scrap of fabric around for clothing and  secure it with glue. Add hair with the yarn if desired, or you can just color with markers. Let your Buddy dry. Slip onto your shirt pocket purse strap or backpack.

Family Tip
Starting school or daycare is very exciting for children, 
but scary as well. When my?son was in first  grade, we 
made a pair of "buddies". He brought his with him to school, in his backpack as a reminder that he was never alone. I promised to keep mine with me throughout the day. It's amazing how much better he felt and after just a week or two he no longer needed his "buddy".
