Garden Stones - Gardening Craft for Kids
Easy to make decorations add a personal 
touch to your child's garden.
   

You'll need:
Smooth stones - any size will do
Acrylic paint
Paint brushes
Stencils (optional)
Clear acrylic sealer

First wash each stone that will be painted.
Cover the work space with newspaper.
Prepare a cup of water and a tray with paint colors. 
I use an old ice-cube tray  for my paints, they hold several colors. Freehand or stencil your design.
Allow the paint to dry thoroughly.
Spray a clear acrylic sealer to protect the 
stone from water and sun.
Larger stones are perfect for the corner of your 
garden and small stones look great in a window box.
