Canada Day Recipe Ideas Kids Can Make
Patriotic Kabobs- Use lollipop sticks (craft store) to make kid-friendly kabobs. Add strawberries and marshmallows. Tip: the lollipops sticks are safer than skewers.
Cookie cutters can turn ordinary food into a Canada Day delight and your kids can help. Consider buying some sweet maple sugar treats to add to the mix.
- Red Jell-o Jigglers
- Maple sugar cookies
- Maple Leaf cheese slices placed on crackers
- Use the cookie cutter to cut flour tortillas brush a small amount of olive oil and add parmesan cheese, then lightly bake in a 350 degree oven.
- Cut maple leaf-shaped brownies. Use a decorating tube to add red or white frosting on top. then top with a red M&M.
- Marshmallow treats are a summer picnic favorite. A maple leaf cookie cutter and berries, transforms this treat for the occasion. Stack the marshmallow treats on a plate and surround the outside edge with raspberries and mini marshmallows.
