Silly Creature Creator
Create an Imaginary Zoo to play with your friends or alone!
You'll Need:
Index Cards
Crayon or Markers
Start by placing the cards horizontally with the blank side up, one above the other on a table. Have your child draw a head on the top card, a matching body on the middle card and end with matching legs and/or feet. After several cards have been completed, mix and match to create silly creatures. Store the cards with a rubber band to take in the car
or anytime fun is needed.
It's a Secret...Code
You’ll need:
pencil
paper
Ask your child to take the challenge of creating a symbol or number code for each letter in the alphabet and write it down. For added enjoyment, you can suggest this activity when a friend is visiting. After all, it is more fun to be a secret spy with a partner! They may choose to share the code with only a few people. Maybe they will give you the honor. It can be your own secret language to send notes for fun and encouragement.
