Birthday Mobile
Decorate your birthday table with this easy & versatile mobile.
Include the birthday child in the process, so they can show off
their handy-work at the party!

You'll Need:
A wire hanger
Yarn, twine or colored tape
String
Picture cut outs that go with the party theme
Magazines or coloring books work very well
Construction paper or poster board
Scissors
Hole punch

1. Wrap and completely cover the hanger with 
yarn or tape. Tie or tape the yarn to hold it in place.

2. Neatly cut colored pictures 
( Mom , Dad or older siblings can do this!).

3.Glue onto construction paper or poster board to add weight.

4.Use the hole punch to add a hole to the top of each image.

5. Tie varying lengths of string or yarn to each image.

6. Attach and tie across the bottom of the hanger.

Make a more extensive mobile by adding more hangers!
This activity will also help your child learn about balance 
( a basic physics concept )
