Craft Idea for Kids -
Dot Painted Bookmark Create your own bookmark with this unique mosaic painting style.  You’ll Need: pencils with erasers poster or acrylic paint construction paper paper plate or meat tray hole punch yarn or ribbon Cut a strip of construction paper about 2 inches wide. Pour a small amount of paint, about the size of a quarter , onto the paper plate or meat tray. Dip the eraser end of the pencil into the paint and then onto the paper to create a small dot. Be sure to press the eraser onto a damp cloth before changing colors. Continue using this painting technique to make any shape or design you choose. You can even write your name! Make a hole at the top of the book mark. Loop a strand of yarn through the hole and secure it with a knot. TIP: To protect your bookmark , have it laminated or cover it with clear Contact paper before making the hole on the top. Related Links: |
