Materials

• kitchen sponge
• scissors
• 3-inch clay pot
• pink acryic paint

• potting soil
• packet of flower seeds
• ribbon (optional)

Instructions

1.
Use your scissors to cut the sponge into a heart shape.
2.
Pour the pink acrylic paint onto a plate and gently dip your heart-shaped sponge into it.
3.
Press the paint-soaked sponge onto the clay pot, making a heart-shaped design on the outside. Do this as many times you like, decorating the pot as desired.
4.
Allow paint to dry completely.
5.
Place potting soil and seeds into the clay pot.
6.
If you're giving this as a gift, tie the ribbon around the pot and make a bow (optional).

Tips

Make a paper heart with a message, atttach it to floral stick and insert it into the potting soil.
