Helping Hands Bouquet Craft

Give Mom a helping hand this Mother's Day with a bouquet of special things you can do for her! She can redeem them whenever she needs a little help around the house, yard or just a big bear hug. This is a great craft to show Mom how much you care.

Materials
  • tacky glue
  • scissors
  • florists' picks/straws
  • flower pot (optional)
  • styrofoam or sand
  • colored paper
  • tape
  • crayons/pens/pencils
Instructions
    1.
    Trace and cut around your child's hand 4-6 times on colored paper.
    2.
    Cut out 6 leaves from green colored paper.
    3.
    Write messages on the hands such as: Water the plants, One big hug, Clean my room, etc.
    4.
    Tape the hands to the back of the florist straws.
    5.
    Add paper leaves if desired.
    6.
    Fill the pot with styrofoam or sand. (If your pot has a drainage hole be sure to tape over it if you are using sand.)
    7.
    Insert the hand-flowers into the pot and you are done!
Tips
  • For a special touch, fill the pot with chocolate candies or jelly beans.
