This creative Love CD is a unique craft for your kids to make as a Valentine's Day gift!

Materials

• plastic CDs
• glue gun
• permanent marker

• candy hearts
• Mod-Podge craft glue sealer
• construction paper

Instructions

1.
Cover any print or images on one side of your CDs with paper and a glue stick.
2.
On the opposite side, apply candy hearts with craft glue or Mod-Podge. Leave enough room for the message on the front, or write your message on the back. Allow the glue to dry.
3.
Brush a thin coat of Mod-Podge over the decorated side. Be sure to completely cover the candies. This step seals and protects the candies and adds a nice shine.
4.
Let it dry.
5.
When the Mod-Podge is dry, use a permanent marker to write a message, poem, or Valentine Pun: "Your love makes my heart sing!" "Be my valentine and we can create beautiful music together" "Your love is music to my heart!"
6.
Add a ribbon for hanging (optional).

Variations

Make a simpler version:

First, if necessary, cover any print or images on one side of your CD's with paper and a glue stick. On the other side, apply stickers, glitter, etc. Let the glue dry, and and write your messages on either side (examples above). Add a ribbon for hanging.
