Decorate your Thanksgiving table with a sweet smelling Potpourri Turkey for each place setting! This craft would also make a good gift for relatives.

Materials
  • craft foam sheets (brown and orange)
  • pinking shears
  • scissors
  • craft glue, glue stick, or glue dots
  • plastic wiggle eyes
  • potpourri
  • autumn fabric cut in approximately 5-inch squares
  • pipe cleaners
Instructions
    1.
Cut squares of fabric for each turkey using the pinking shears. This prevents frayed fabric edges.
    2.
Place a small amount of potpourri into the center of the fabric.
    3.
Gather the fabric to form a pouch and secure with a piece of pipe cleaner. This is the turkey body and feathers.
    4.
Cut an oblong piece of brown craft foam to make the turkey body and a very small piece for the beak.
    5.
Using craft glue or glue dots, attach the eyes and beak to the brown oval.
    6.
Lay the potpourri pouch on its side, so that the gathered fabric is in the back to form the feathers.
    7.
Glue the turkey head to the front.
