These whimsical little Reindeer Pots can serve as place card holders for a Christmas table or party favors. You can even give a Reindeer Pot as a gift, filled with the recipient's favorite candy! They are an easy and inexpensive craft for classrooms or scout troops.

Materials
  • scissors
  • craft glue, glue stick, or glue dots
  • terracotta clay pots (2-inch to 5-inch)
  • googly eyes
  • red pom-poms (glitter pom-poms are a fun addition!)
  • 3 shades of brown craft foam, cardstock paper, or construction paper
Instructions
    1.
First, with one shade of brown paper, cut the antlers to match the size of your pot. If you are making the larger reindeer, use a child's handprint as pattern.
    2.
Cut the ears from the other brown paper. You can use a lighter shade of brown to add yet another layer to the ears.
    3.
Attach the ears to the back of the pot. Then add the antlers.
    4.
Glue the eyes and nose to the front.
    5.
Fill the pot with candy, nuts, or other goodies.
