Do your kids love fireworks? Here's a way to focus on the fun (and none of the fear) right in your own home.

Materials
  • newspaper (to protect your surfaces)
  • straws
  • poster paint
  • white glue
  • fine poly glitter (you can find this at the craft store)
  • cardstock
Instructions
    1.
Cover your surfaces with newspaper. This project can get messy!
    2.
Mix the paint and the glue until you reach a smooth consistency and the paint moves easily. You may need to add a drop of water to the mixture.
    3.
Pour several small puddles of the paint/glue mixture onto the cardstock.
    4.
Use the straw to blow the paint around the cardstock making spray patterns.
    5.
Sprinkle glitter over the top and set aside to dry.
