Your kids will have a whale of a time making this craft out of a plastic milk jug. Bathtime just got funner and splashier with the Milk Jug Whale!

Materials

• clean plastic gallon milk jug
• permanent marker

• scissors

Instructions

1.
Turn the gallon jug onto its side so that the handle is at the top.
2.
With the marker, draw a mouth shape on the base of the jug and extending partway up the sides.
3.
Cut along the lines with scissors, creating a wide mouthed scoop.
4.
Using the marker, outline the edge of the mouth, add eyes and a fin.

Tips

• Be sure to check for rough or sharp edges where the mouth has been cut and use an emery board where necessary.
