Christmas Gift Tags

Materials
  • 3 to 4-inch pre-cut gift tags (find them at your local craft store or cut your own)
  • card stock scraps in red, blue, pink, green, and white
  • assorted colored glitter or glitter pens
  • glue
  • stickers, or stick on gems
  • ribbon to match card stock colors
  • markers
  • cookie cutters
  • scissors
Instructions
    1.
    Trace your favorite cookie cutter shape onto cardstock with a pen or pencil.

    Cut out the shape with scissors.

    Embellish your shapes with glitter, stickers, or markers.

    The Christmas tree shown here was cut from green card stock and a star sticker was added to the top of the tree. A glitter pen was used to make small dots for the red ornaments on the tree.

    The stocking was traced and cut out of red cardstoc and the top of the stocking was traced again onto white cardstock, cut out, and glued to the red stocking.

    The snowflake was cut from blue card stock and stick-on gems or glitter can be added to give it a sparkle.

    4.
    Glue the cookie cutter shape to one side of your gift tag.

    Add "To:" and "From:" to the tag with a coordinating marker or glitter pen.

    Add a ribbon to the tag so you can attach it to the gift!
